Sock Yee graduated from University of Tasmania with a Bachelor degree in Architecture in 2006 and a Master in Architecture with Honors in 2008. She has been a registered Architect with the Boards of Architects, Singapore, since 2012.

She joined ATA Architects Pte Ltd in 2009 and became the Associate Director in 2012. She was made Director in October 2016.

Her design philosophy focuses on the social responsibility and environmental sustainability in the design of built environment. Her forte is in executing detailed planning in design in accordance to both owners and authorities requirements and ensuring that projects are completed on time.

Her project experiences range from places of worship, commercial development, institutions, industrial building, conservation buildings and retrofitting of existing buildings. She also involved in various design exercises such as the master planning and detail designs for a Precinct Housing development in India, commercial and cultural institutions development in Melbourne and Tasmania, Australia.
